The Local Liquor Commission reviews applications and conducts investigations of people or organizations applying for liquor licenses.
The same members serve on the Tobacco Commission, which reviews applications and conducts investigations of businesses applying for tobacco licenses. The commission also holds public hearings on violations of the Tobacco Ordinance.
The Local Liquor Commission generally meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at City Hall. The Tobacco Commission meets on an on-call basis. All meetings are open to residents. You are welcome to attend, share your thoughts, or observe to see if you would like to apply for a position.
