Disabled Parking Permit

The Wheaton Police Department issues temporary disabled parking permits.

Temporary Permits

Temporary disabled parking permits are available to Wheaton residents only and are valid for 90 days, with no renewal allowed.

To apply for a temporary disabled parking permit:

  1. Download the Temporary Disabled Parking Permit Application (PDF)
  2. Both the applicant and the applicant’s physician must fill out their respective portions of the application
  3. Return the completed form, along with a fee of $2, to the Wheaton Police Department, 900 West Liberty Drive
  4. Once the fee is paid, the permit will be ready immediately

Permanent Permits

The State of Illinois handles permanent disabled parking placards and license plates. For more information, see the Illinois Secretary of State website.
