City of Wheaton Departments, City Boards & Commissions, units of local government and associations funded in whole or part by local taxes and which have contracts or agreements with the City to promote policies consistent with the City's economic vitality.
Banner requests shall be in writing and include an authorized signature. Please submit form electronically or email to firstname.lastname@example.org, drop off in person or mail to Wheaton City Hall-Communications Department: 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, IL 60187
Applications will not be accepted less than 30 days prior to the requested display date. Filling out a request does not guarantee a reservation or design approval. Applicant will receive notification regarding request within 10 days.
Banners must include the words 'Property of the City of Wheaton' in 1/2 inch Calibri font at bottom left-hand corner of both sides of banner. Banners must be delivered to Public Works (821 W. Liberty Drive) by noon on Friday prior to the Monday installation date. Banners will be stored at Public Works unless applicant requests to pick them up.
The undersigned represents that the representations made in this application are true and correct and that the undersigned has the authority to submit the application on behalf of the applicant. The undersigned further represents that the applicant entity has read and understands the regulations stated in the City of Wheaton’s Streetlight Pole Banner Policy, which are incorporated herein as a part of this Application, and agrees to abide by them. The undersigned further represents that the applying entity understands that the City reserves the right to not install and/or remove, without notice, any banner in conformance with the City’s Banner policy.
