Adams Park has long been a beautiful and unique part of Wheaton’s history, providing enjoyment to many for the past 75 years. To address accessibility needs, preserve the park’s character and develop a landscape plan guiding the future of Adams Park, the City of Wheaton is developing a landscape design and is seeking public input.
As part of the City’s contract with Upland Design to assist in developing a landscape design for historic Adams Park, the City encourages you to take this short online survey to gather your feedback about the park. The City will also conduct two public meetings, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24 at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W Wesley Street, to gather input from the community.
This park is maintained by the City of Wheaton and currently does not have a master landscape plan to guide the park’s future landscaping needs and the condition of paths, walkways and infrastructure.
Surveyors will be in park over the next few weeks working to identify the park landscaping as it exists today.
