UPDATE: Please note that the originally scheduled Neighborhood Roll Call planned for July 20 has been cancelled. In its place, please join the Wheaton Police Department and Wheaton Park District for Movie Night with the Cops! Bring chairs or blankets and snacks for a showing of "Toy Story" at dusk at Seven Gables Park. The remaining Neighborhood Roll Calls will take place on July 18 and July 25 (see information below), so please come out for one of these events.
The Wheaton Police Department invites you to attend more dates of its Neighborhood Roll Call community events on July 11, 18 and 25.
At each event, the family friendly gathering will start at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation by the Wheaton Police Department. Officers will talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood, crime trends and police programs, and they will present safety demonstrations. The events also include an opportunity for attendees to ask questions. In addition, officers will provide fun activities for children.
In past years of this program, events have taken place at Wheaton parks and schools. To reach as many community members as possible, this year’s programs are taking place outside places of worship in our community and parks. The next four events will be:
Tuesday, July 11, 6:30 p.m.
First Presbyterian Church
715 N. Carlton St.
(NE corner of Carlton & Jefferson)
Tuesday, July 18, 6:30 p.m.
St. Paul Lutheran Church
515 S. Wheaton Ave.
CANCELLED: Thursday, July 20, 6:30 p.m.
Northside Park
1300 N. West St.
(In front of the Northside Warming Shelter across from the tennis courts)
Tuesday, July 25, 6:30 p.m.

Residents are welcome to attend any of these events, but you may want to attend an event closest to your neighborhood to learn pertinent information happening near you. See a map with locations of these events plus more information at www.wheaton.il.us/rollcall
