The City of Wheaton’s Housing Commission is now accepting applications from qualifying Wheaton seniors who would like to apply for the City’s Senior Housing Assistance Program. Through this program, the City provides monthly financial assistance to qualifying seniors to help them continue living in our community.
Senior Wheaton residents must meet the three following requirements to apply for Wheaton Housing Assistance:
- Age: must be at least 65 years or older
- Residency: must be an incorporated Wheaton resident for at least the last consecutive 3 years
- Income: annual household income cannot exceed $29,450
If you are receiving Section 8 or DuPage Housing Authority assistance, you are NOT eligible to apply for this program.
If you meet the 3 qualifications listed above, you can fill out an application, which is available on the City of Wheaton’s website, or contact Andrea Rosedale with the City of Wheaton at 630-260-2012 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
