The Wheaton Municipal Band announces its 2022 summer season. 2022 marks the first time since the pandemic that the full-sized band will appear on the new Memorial Park Bandshell stage. All 88 musicians plan to wow the audience with their full concert sound.
Under the direction of Dr. Bruce Moss, the Wheaton Municipal Band takes the stage in 2022 with a summer chocked full of music and fun. All Thursday night outdoor concerts start at 7:30 p.m. The indoor concert at Edman Chapel starts at 8 p.m.
The Wheaton Municipal Band Schedule is as follows:
- June 9 - The Season Opener Celebration
- June 16 - An Evening with James Curnow
- June 23 - University of Illinois Conductor
- June 30 - Let Freedom Ring!
- July 7 - War Horses
- July 9 - Edman Spectacular; This concert is at Edman Chapel and begins at 8 p.m.
- July 21 - Gephart Conducts
- July 14 - A Tribute to Stephen Sondheim and American Musicals
- July 28 - Musical Potpourri
- August 4 - Simple Gifts
