UPDATE: Wheaton Police have cleared the area of Blanchard Circle and Naperville Road. The large police presence was investigating an incident that began at approximately 9:08 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, in which Wheaton Police Officers responded to the BMO Harris Bank (4 Blanchard Circle) for a bank alarm. While officers were enroute, dispatch advised an unknown male had entered the bank and presented a note requesting money. The male then fled the bank lot on a bicycle in an unknown direction. No weapon was displayed or implied.
The suspect, pictured below, is described as a white male, wearing a black hoodie with its hood up, dark jeans, a black mask, and black gloves.

There is currently a large police presence in the area of Blanchard Circle and Naperville Road due to an ongoing investigation by the Wheaton Police Department. There is no threat to the public.
Wheaton Police ask that drivers avoid this area while officers complete their investigation. We will provide a further update once this area is clear.
