A reminder from the City of Wheaton Building Department: As temperatures warm, icicles located over entrances to buildings and over public and private sidewalks may become a hazard to the public. Building owners and managers should take steps to either remove icicles near entrance/exists and over sidewalks or place barricades to keep pedestrians and vehicles away from falling ice. If you see a hazardous condition as described above, that is not being addressed, please call the City of Wheaton Building Department at 630-260-2050.
