The State of Illinois is set to begin its next phase of reduced Covid-19 restrictions on Friday, May 14, 2021. Called the “Bridge Phase” of the Restore Illinois Plan, the State released its guidelines for many types of industries and activities that will go into effect on Friday. Then, barring any significant reversals in the state’s key Covid-19 statewide indicators, the entire state is expected to fully reopen under Phase 5 of its Covid-19 reopening plan on June 11.
