[ARCHIVED] Police Respond to Armed Robbery

At approximately 7:37 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, the Wheaton Police Department responded to CVS, located at 1400 E. Roosevelt Road, for the report of an armed robbery. 

During the incident, one person entered the store and held one store employee at knifepoint and demanded money, receiving an undetermined amount of cash. 

The suspect is described as: a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, 25-30 years of age with a skinny build, dark eyes, and dark hair. The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up, a white glove and a light-colored mask. (See photos below.)

The suspect fled the scene on foot southbound on Blanchard Street.
