[ARCHIVED] City Discontinues Block Party Permits Through May 31

The City of Wheaton is discontinuing the issuance of block party permits through Sunday, May 31.

In adhering to Governor Pritzker’s Stay-At-Home Executive Order, the City will not be allowing or issuing block party permits through May 31. The Stay-At-Home Executive Order was recently extended through the end of May and prohibits all public and private gatherings of any number of people occurring outside a single household or living unit and prohibits gatherings of more than ten people.

The City continues to monitor future updates to the current situation while acting in accordance with issued State Executive Orders in order to continue to protect the safety and well-being of the community.
