The 2019 Fireworks Display will be on Wednesday, July 3, at Graf Park, 1855 Manchester Road, at approximately 9 p.m. Spectator viewing and activities will begin at 5 p.m. at Graf Park and concluding at 10 p.m.
During this time, motorists can expect traffic delays on:

Please use extra caution for pedestrians who are going to and from this event, and follow parking regulations and posted signs.
Parade
The 2019 Fourth of July Parade will be held on Thursday, July 4, beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding at noon.
Due to work with the Downtown Streetscape Project, the parade route will be slightly different than usual. It will begin at Main Street and Hawthorne Boulevard, traveling south on Main Street. The parade will turn west (right) onto Union Avenue then south (left) onto Wheaton Avenue, concluding at Memorial Park. This year’s announcing and judging will take place on Union Avenue between Hale Street and Wheaton Avenue.
The following major streets will be closed:
- North Main Street between Geneva Road and Wesley Street
- Union Avenue between North Main Street and Wheaton Avenue, and
- Wheaton Avenue between Wesley Street and Union Avenue.
Several side streets along North Main Street, particularly East Parkway Drive and East Hawthorne Boulevard, will be temporarily closed for staging parade entrants.
During these events, these streets will be adequately staffed with uniformed Police Officers to assist and direct traffic. The City asks that residents, citizens, and motorists cooperate in not moving the barricades to ensure the safety of everyone.
Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and may choose to alter their travel route to avoid these areas.
