Update for Train Station Users

The City received clearance from structural engineers to reopen a portion of the downtown Wheaton Metra station at 402 W Front Street by the end of January. More details are available on the City’s website.

Date Change for Ice Cubed Fest

Due to warmer temperatures forecast for this weekend, the Downtown Wheaton Association has moved the third annual Ice Cubed Fest to Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. See many ice sculptures throughout the downtown, watch a live ice sculpting demonstration and more.

Take Part in Ice-A-Palooza

Join the Wheaton Park District for Ice-A-Palooza, a free event featuring Snow Queen Elsa, Anna and Olaf; ice skating; ice games; a bonfire and more. This event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Athletic Complex Ice Rinks, 500 S. Naperville Road.

Snow Reminder: Be a Good Neighbor

Please clear snow from sidewalks near your home. Keeping sidewalks clear, especially near intersections, is very helpful for children walking to school or their bus stops, mail carriers, dog walkers, and other neighbors who use the sidewalks. If you know of a neighbor who is unable to clear their sidewalks, consider lending a hand to keep the sidewalks in your neighborhood clear.
