Deputy Chief Conway Completes FBI National Academy

Wheaton Police Chief Princeton J. Youker announced that Deputy Police Chief Ryan Conway recently graduated as a member of the 289th session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va., a prestigious achievement that less than 1 percent of police officers nationally have the opportunity to complete. The 10-week National Academy offers advanced communication, leadership and fitness training.

Deputy Chief Conway has more than 19 years of service with the Wheaton Police Department and is the Deputy Chief of the Operations Division, where he manages patrol and community service officers. Throughout his extensive tenure, he has held diverse roles, including narcotics investigator, SWAT team member and field training officer, before being promoted to sergeant, lieutenant and deputy chief.

Deputy Chief Conway is deeply rooted in Wheaton, having been a lifelong resident and an alumnus of Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

Congratulations to Deputy Chief Conway on this achievement.
