City to Dedicate Honorary Street Sign to Local Hero SPC Samuel T. Watts

WHEATON, Ill. – Karlskoga Avenue will soon bear the name of a former resident who gave his life serving our country.

At 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, the City of Wheaton will unveil an honorary sign dedicated to SPC Samuel T. Watts at the corner of Karlskoga Ave and Hale Street. The community is invited to attend the unveiling.

WattsSPC Samuel T. Watts was a graduate of Wheaton North High School and Specialist in the U.S Army. He gave his life serving his country in Afghanistan in 2012.
