Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Todd Olshefski
The Wheaton Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating Todd Olshefski of Lombard, Ill. Todd Olshefski is currently wanted on a Failure to Appear warrant for the original offense of Use of Charitable Trust Funds for Personal Benefit. This warrant was issued by the DuPage County Circuit Court and is maintained by the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.
Mr. Olshefski was originally arrested on May 2, 2019 with his wife, Priscilla Olshefski. (Mr. Olshefski was released on bond and failed to appear at his next scheduled court date. For more information, please see the City’s website.
Temporary Road Closures for Light the Torch 5K
Please note that some roads will be closed Saturday evening from approximately 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Light the Torch 5K run. See the road closures on the City’s website. Please do not move barricades so we can ensure the safety of race participants.
Hazardous Waste Collection Oct. 5
A one-day hazardous waste event will allow you to bring items such as oil-based paints, paint thinners, gasoline, motor oil, herbicides, household batteries, cleaning agents and more. This event will be on from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Bensenville Public Works Facility, 711 E. Jefferson St., Bensenville. Sponsored by the Illinois EPA and DuPage County, this event is open to all Illinois residents.
