Hale Street Tents

Hale Street Closing Soon for Return of Outdoor Dining Tents

Crews will be closing the block of Hale Street between Front Street and Wesley Street during the evening hours of Monday, May 1 to begin setting up the Hale Street Tents. This block will remain closed to vehicle traffic through early October to allow for shared outdoor dining tents, which are managed by the Downtown Wheaton Association. Please remember that you may not ride bikes, scooters, skateboards or skates under the tents or on the sidewalks. You will also find numerous opportunities for outdoor dining and live entertainment in other downtown locations and in Wheaton's other shopping districts during warmer months, too, as many Wheaton restaurants and businesses offer outdoor dining and entertainment.
