Mark Your Calendar for the Ice Art Walk, Cocoa Crawl & Ice-A-Palooza
The Downtown Wheaton Association and Wheaton Park District have planned a day of winter fun for the community. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., stroll through downtown Wheaton to see ice sculptures and enjoy hot cocoa in the Downtown Wheaton Association’s Ice Art Walk and Cocoa Crawl. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., check out the Wheaton Park District’s Ice-A-Palooza at the Central Athletic Complex Rinks, 500 S. Naperville Road. This free event features a meet-and-greet with Elsa and Anna, face painting, open skating, hockey, kids games, concessions and more.
DuPage County Stormwater Management Hosting Public Meeting
Wheaton residents are invited to attend a public meeting hosted by DuPage County Stormwater Management during the regularly scheduled Stormwater Management Planning Committee meeting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the County Board Room, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton. This meeting is being held for the public to provide input on the adequacy of their municipality’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program.
The City of Wheaton will have engineering staff in attendance to answer any questions. The full DuPage County Stormwater Management Program Plan can be found at:

Summer Positions Available
It’s not too early to start thinking about summer. The City of Wheaton is currently hiring Summer Laborers to work out of Public Works Department over the months of May through August.
This position works both independently and in groups and assists various divisions: Facilities, Forestry/Parks and Grounds, Streets, Signs, Water and Sewer, with multiple projects that directly impact the City and our residents.
