[ARCHIVED] Skill Up Wheaton to Connect Residents with Free Career Resources

DuPage County’s workNet Center, the City of Wheaton and Wheaton Public Library have partnered to host the Skill Up Wheaton event on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. The event will be held at Wheaton Public Library, 225 N. Cross St., and it is free to attend. All job seekers from entry-level to executive are encouraged to join.

During Skill Up Wheaton, workNet DuPage will offer no-cost career resources and funding up to $10,000 for job training. Residents will experience free job search workshops, one-on-one coaching, resume reviews, employer connections, and more. Through these federally funded career services, attendees will learn how to start or continue to develop a great career.

DuPage County’s workNet Center will also help job seekers:

    Team up with a personal career coach.

    Level up with job search assistance.

    Step up earning potential.

    Skill up with marketable certifications.
