[ARCHIVED] Public Works Cleaning Up Storm Damage

tree clearing

Wheaton’s Public Works Department has been working overnight to clean up damage from Tuesday’s storm, which caused a significant amount of downed tree branches and limbs. Crews are prioritizing clearing streets to ensure all roadways are passable and will continue to clear parkway tree damage throughout the City over the next few days.

If you’d like to report damage to parkway trees, please use the City’s Online Service Request Form at www.wheaton.il.us/servicerequest. Please note: The City is clearing damage from parkway trees only; for damage to trees on private property, you will need to place branches/limbs at the curb for yard waste pickup in accordance with LRS guidelines or contact a tree service to remove private trees.

We appreciate your patience as our crews continue working to clear damage throughout the City.
