[ARCHIVED] Road Closures Associated with Homecoming Parade on Sept. 21

Newsflash_Road Closure

Wiesbrook Road will be closed from Muirfield Circle to Butterfield Road from approximately 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 for Wheaton Warrenville South High School's Homecoming Parade. 

The parade will step off from Atten Park at 6 p.m. and continue south on Wiesbrook Road then conclude at Wheaton Warrenville South High School (1993 Tiger Trail). The parade is estimated to last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Access to Wiesbrook Road will be closed along the parade route at Warrenville Avenue, Durfee Road, Stonegate Lane, Emden Lane, and Butterfield Road. See a map of the road closures.

Streets will be staffed with personnel from the Wheaton Police Department to assist and direct traffic. 

Residents and motorists are being asked for their cooperation in not moving the barricades to ensure the safety of the parade participants and spectators.
