[ARCHIVED] Police Attempting to Locate Suspect in Alleged Domestic Battery Incident

There is currently a large presence by the Wheaton Police Department in area of Briarcliffe Boulevard and 22nd Street due to an alleged domestic battery. Police are attempting to locate a suspect described as a black male, approximately 26 years old, approximately 5'7" and 230 pounds with long black dreadlocks, last seen wearing a white T-shirt and light-colored pants or light-colored jeans. The individual was last seen on foot holding a 1-year-old child who was wearing diapers. Anyone who may observe this individual is encouraged to call 9-1-1 immediately and should not approach the individual. There is no known threat to the public. 

Please note the individual in this alleged incident is presumed innocent. If located and charged, the individual will be entitled to a fair trial in which it is the government's burden to prove their guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
