“Smashed: Wheaton Train Wrecks” History Presentation

Trains have been rolling through downtown Wheaton for 173 years.  Local historian Bob Goldsborough will be providing a colorful look at rail mishaps in Wheaton and surrounding areas, from the biggest and most tragic disasters to less-known pileups. Join the City of Wheaton Historic Commission (sponsor) and the Wheaton Public Library for “Smashed: Wheaton Train Wrecks” at the Wheaton Public Library on September 6 at 7 p.m.
