Electronic & Battery Recycling

Drop off unwanted electronics and old batteries for recycling during the City's monthly collection events. Volunteers and employees from Creative Recycling will unload your items from your car.

Electronic & Battery Recycling Collections:

  • Date: Second Saturday of each month
  • Time: 9 a.m.-noon
  • Location: Public Works Storage Yard, 820 W. Liberty Drive (near the Police Station)
  • Accepting:
    • Electronics
      • Examples: Televisions, cell phones, printers, computers, etc.
    • Small household appliances
      • Examples: Blenders, toasters, alarm clocks, etc.
    • Business electronics
      • Examples: Printers, phone systems, computers, etc.
    • Household batteries (do not need to be sorted)
      • Examples: AA, AAA, D batteries; hearing aid batteries; lithium batteries; camera batteries
    • Printer toner cartridges
      • Examples: Toner and inkjet cartridges of any size
  • NOT Accepting:
    • Electronics containing liquids or other hazardous materials
      • Examples: Refrigerators, air conditioners
    • Batteries for cars, boats or sump pumps
