WHEATON, Ill. – The Wheaton Police Department announces a charge of First Degree Murder has been filed in connection to the death of Erin C. Leinweber. It is alleged the murder was committed by Lee Leinweber. He was charged with one count of First Degree Murder and appeared in bond court on February 7, 2017. Bond was established at $2,000,000.

Investigators are still attempting to locate the victim’s vehicle, a red 2009 Kia Spectra with Illinois plate V264403, which may have a Hillary Clinton bumper sticker on the rear of the vehicle. Anyone observing the vehicle should immediately contact a law enforcement agency via 911.
