WHEATON, Ill. – Since 1972, the City of Wheaton has administered a Housing Assistance Program to assist its senior citizens with their housing costs. The City’s Housing Commission is tasked with managing this program.
Residents must meet the three following requirements to qualify for the Wheaton Housing Assistance Program:
- Age: The minimum age for acceptance into this program is 65 years old.
- Residency: The minimum length of incorporated Wheaton residency for acceptance into this program is 3 years.
- Income: The maximum annual household income for acceptance into this program is $23,800.
