This message comes to you from DuPage County, the City of Wheaton and the Wheaton Park District:
WHEATON, Ill. – Due to the recent storm of July 1, 2012, all activities for July 3 (fireworks) and July 4 (parade) have been canceled. DuPage County has proclaimed that a State of Emergency exists countywide, and the Mayor of Wheaton is scheduled to sign a proclamation declaring a state of emergency for the city of Wheaton. The community and participants’ safety is our top priority.
At this point in time, these activities have not been rescheduled. Questions can be directed to dnovak@wheatonparks.org or abendy@wheatonparks.org.
