WHEATON, Ill. – The contractor for the Butterfield Road Project anticipates re-opening Cromwell and Arrowhead Drives at Route 56 this Thursday, June 21. Following those openings, Orchard Road at the intersection of Route 56 will be closed for one to two weeks. The contractor has posted electronic message boards advising drivers with this information.

These closures are associated with the Butterfield Road reconstruction and widening project, which is a project of the Illinois Department of Transportation. Please continue to use caution in the construction zones on and around Butterfield Road.
