WHEATON, Ill. – Painting of the Orchard Water Tower located on Marywood Trail is scheduled begin in July. Relocation of the cellular antennas to a temporary monopole has begun and, once completed, the painting will begin. The tower will be covered with a shroud to contain any overspray during the process. The shroud will be raised and lowered each day to accommodate the work.

The contractor will typically be working Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There could be times when work may extend into the early evening hours. Depending on delays or weather conditions some work may be extended to weekend hours.

Inspections will be performed to assure all reasonable precautions are followed in accordance with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Once complete, the cellular equipment will be relocated back to the tower and the temporary monopole will be removed.
