Briarcliffe Boulevard Reconstruction Project

The Wheaton City Council has provided funding for the reconstruction of Briarcliffe Boulevard between Brentwood Lane and Butterfield Road. This work will involve the reconstruction of the roadway pavement, base repair, curb and gutter replacement (not including the island), and driveway apron removal and replacement.

The City has hired an engineering consultant to begin preparation of plans, project specifications and pavement design. The City anticipates the construction to begin in early summer with a completion in late fall.

Due to the nature of this work, it will be necessary to detour traffic. A traffic plan will be part of the plan preparation.
