Turn Wheaton Green
The City of Wheaton has launched a community campaign encouraging all residents to help “Turn Wheaton Green” by making environmentally friendly choices in their everyday lives. From recycling to conserving water to driving less, there are countless ways residents can help turn Wheaton green.
See the Wheaton Sustainability Report, which documents the City's achievements to date and sets goals for continuing the City's progress in turning Wheaton green.
Share what you are doing to Turn Wheaton Green, and you could see yourself on the City’s website or City of Wheaton Channel 10. Send an email with a description of how you are being green and (if possible) a photo of yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org, or mail it to Turn Wheaton Green, Communications Department, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Please include your contact information. Submissions from residents, businesses, schools and community groups will be featured in the "How Are You Being Green?" section.
