Freedom of Information Act
The City Clerk handles all freedom of information requests (FOIA) in accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act for residents or Wheaton businesses who want to view City documents. The City now offers a new online form for submitting FOIA requests. See the link below to submit a request.
For administrative and environmental purposes, the City of Wheaton prefers FOIA requests to be submitted using this online submission form. However, you may still submit your request using this fillable FOIA form (pdf) or Police Records FOIA form (pdf) if you prefer to print your request and submit it manually.
