Departments

The City of Wheaton is staffed by 12 departments that report to the City Manager.

• Most departments (including the Building & Code Enforcement, Central Purchasing, Economic Development, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, and Planning departments) are based at City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St.
• The Communications and Information Technology departments are located at the City Hall Annex, 303 W. Wesley St., just west of City Hall.
• The Police Department operates out of the Police Station at 900 W. Liberty Drive.
• The Fire Department operates out of three fire stations, with Fire Station One, 1 Fapp Circle, serving as the department’s headquarters.
• The Forestry, Street and Sewer divisions of the Public Works Department are based at 821 W. Liberty Drive, while the Water Division is based at 210 Reber St.
