City Considers Ordinance Regarding City Clerk Requirements
In preparation for Executive Assistant/City Clerk Emily Consolazio’s upcoming retirement, the City Council received an ordinance that would allow the City Clerk’s position to be filled by a non-Wheaton resident. The change would allow for City staff to move an existing employee who is very familiar with the Executive Assistant/City Clerk duties into the position. The Council will formally consider the ordinance at its Feb. 7, 2011 meeting.
